After twelve years of delivering eCommerce, technology and marketing services, we noticed that the work that changed a business most was rarely the work we were paid for. It was the decision made before it. So we rebuilt PURSHO around that: judgement first, execution where it helps, and no ceremony.
For more than twelve years, PURSHO has worked inside other people's businesses. We've managed eCommerce accounts, built websites and apps, set up servers and migrations, run social media and ads, and launched brands. Along the way we built and now run our own SaaS products.
It was good work. But looking back, a pattern kept repeating.
The work that mattered most wasn't on the invoice
The projects that transformed a client's business weren't the ones with the most deliverables. They were the ones where, before anyone built anything, somebody asked a harder question: should we be doing this at all? Should this seller push ads harder, or fix a listing that converts at half the category rate? Does this company need an app, or a better website and a WhatsApp flow?
Ceremony is expensive
A lot of consulting and agency work is ceremony: long decks, big workshops, weekly reports that nobody reads. It looks like progress. It isn't. Substance is smaller and harder: the right number, the honest diagnosis, the decision, and the follow-through.
What we do now
- Diagnose before we prescribe. We look at the real numbers first.
- Decide what not to do. The most valuable advice is often a reason to stop.
- Stay for the execution. A plan nobody carries out is an expensive opinion.
- Measure what changed. If we can't show it, it didn't happen.
